SILVERSTONE MEDIA DAY
British GT 2026 is officially underway. The GT Academy and GT Championship opened the season at the joint British GT x Ginetta Media Day at Silverstone, with over 75 entries across the combined Ginetta grids.
The event marked the start of a new chapter for the GT Academy, now structured as a young driver programme with a prize pathway leading toward a 2027 Spa 24 Hours entry featuring Academy winners from global GT platforms.

SEASON STRUCTURE & PARTNERSHIP
SRO Motorsports Group now oversees the GT Academy alongside the GT Championship and Ginetta Juniors, bringing the series under a unified structure with stronger alignment across development pathways.
The 2026 calendar spans six rounds across major UK circuits, forming a consistent progression for drivers competing within the GT Academy framework.

April 25–26 — Silverstone GP
May 23–25 — Oulton Park
June 27–28 — Croft
August 15–16 — Snetterton 300
September 5–6 — Donington Park
September 26–27 — Brands Hatch GP
